online Carbon Nanotubes: the next -small- thing Techmor has forged a partnership with Zyvex Performance Materials to collaborate and distribute cutting-edge nano-enhanced materials. Zyvex offers Arovex prepreg materials and Epovex adhesives for the ultimate strength-to-weight ratios in demanding applications. These materials utilize carbon nanotubes (CNTs) with physical properties that far exceed those of commonly used materials. With a strength 16 times that of stainless steel and with a thermal conductivity five times that of copper, CNTs are obvious choices for creating a new class of composite materials. Based in Columbus, Ohio, Zyvex Performance Materials Inc. is focused on developing nanotechnology to improve the properties of composite materials. The company’s patented technology allows composites to take advantage of the superior physical and chemical properties of carbon nanotubes by enabling the even dispersion of carbon nanotubes in composites mixtures. Zyvex Performance Materials was the first company to provide carbon nanotube enhanced products to the marketplace. www.zyvexpro.com |
